The Congress opens with a welcome reception in central London on the evening of Wednesday 16th June. This will be an opportunity for delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and hosts to meet and network but also to learn something of the Purple Flag Awards that are designed to recognise entertainment districts that offer a better night out. (This event is smart-business attire)

The main Congress sessions will run through Thursday, Friday and the morning of Saturday 19th June. They will comprise plenary, workshop and round table sessions with some local study tours as part of the core programme.

The Congress also hosts an International Marketplace and Exhibition which will open at noon on Thursday 17th June and which will be the location for lunch on Thursday and Friday as well as four refreshment breaks and two pre programme sessions.

Thursday evening will see the presentation of the ATCM Awards and the Journal of Place Management & Development Best Paper Award and will include a dinner. (This event is smart-business attire)

On Friday evening we will be hosting an event on London's South Bank.

Longer study tours are an optional part of the programme and will visit several cities in the UK and northern Europe both before and after the Congress.
